Architecture
The Desroches private beach villas were originally designed and constructed in 2007. With open-plan wooden decks that connect seamlessly to the internal living areas, the design concept lends itself to outdoor, island living. The footprint of each single-story, 4-bedroom villa is approximately 450 m2, designed to blend in with the un-spoilt surroundings and setback 20 meters from the world-class beach. Each villa has a rim-flow pool that looks out onto the idyllic beach frontage. The villas have been tastefully furnished by the individual homeowners in-line with their own personal tastes since these villas are not commercialized and not part of the hotel.
Villa Management
Our Desroches private beach villas are managed, serviced, and maintained by the Islands Development Company, who are also the landlords as well as the custodians of Desroches Island for and on behalf of the Government of Seychelles. IDC, as it’s commonly known, oversee and ensure sustainable development on all the government-owned outer islands, and offer construction, logistics and aviation services.
